Convention Elections
2026 State Convention elections will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, approximately 12:00 noon during the 107th Annual State Convention held at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel and Aberdeen Convention Center in Aberdeen, SD. Legionnaires endorsed by their home Post for a Department office are listed below.

Convention Auction
The annual Fun Auction is scheduled be held during the 2026 State Convention in Aberdeen, SD.
In 2023, the auction was very successful and raised over $9,000. Proceeds from the Fun Auction are donated to the South Dakota American Legion Foundation.
We are looking for donations for this years Fun Auction. If you would like to donate items for the Auction, please e-mail adjutant@sdlegion.com with a description of the item being donated so it can be added to the list. Thank you.
